  • Made in Germany
Klin from Germany has been making tug and bite toys for professional trainers since 1977.  Jute tugs are commonly used in dog training for K9 police, military, Schutzhund, sporting, agility and obedience work.  They are great for building drive and engagement in your dog. Can the non-working pet dog play with these toys too?  Absolutely!  Use them for obedience training or a fun game of tug and toss.  Check out what Hiccup Dog's behaviorist Drewbles has to say about engagement training - it is the foundation of ALL obedience work.

Training tugs are an essential part of working a dog in training and are a great training aid for building drive.  Jute bite tugs are a better alternative than tennis balls, which can be hard on a dog's teeth.  Bite tugs are also better than solid hard rubber balls on strings.  When a young dog is accidentally hit in the head with a hard rubber ball he will lose drive.  When the same dog gets hit by a tug he ignores the situation and continues to chase in drive.
